AS SEEN ON

doctor of psychology, wife of 26 years, mom of 3 adult kids
former doula, health coach, and english teacher
full time navigator of the grey areas of life

I’ve spent the better part of my adulthood helping people feel good, no matter where they are in life, and also manage when they don’t.

In my therapy practice and coaching work, I’ve repeatedly come up against the idea that “strong” humans are never supposed to experience bad (or any!) emotions—so when we do feel bad, we add on anger and guilt too.

The reality is that life is like waves on an ocean, and resilience is being able to go up and down with the waves of life and continue to thrive.

My personal waves started crashing when I was four and my dad died. I learned to live a whole life alongside grief. I can tell you as both a human with experiences like everyone else, and as a mental health counselor working with people through the harshest crises and deepest trauma, difficulty is not something you “get over” and then start living again when you’re on the other side.

I’ve built a beautiful (albeit messy) life that I love in spite of being dealt some really shitty hands over the years. I’m passionate about helping other women also get to a place of loving their lives, the people in them, and themselves. (At least, the majority of the time.)

Why the dandelions?

BECAUSE WOMEN ARE LIKE DANDELIONS.

Resilient and beautiful. Powerful and healing.

Often underestimated. They refuse to be stopped—even when it seems like everything is working against them.

And when they are ready to let go, they reveal their softness, drifting away to wherever needs them next.

YOU are just like a dandelion.

And perhaps, like a dandelion, you are being overlooked. Underappreciated.

Welcome to Wonder

We support you, love you, and celebrate you as the unsung hero of daily life.
